    Kuehle et al. retrospectively analyzed 26 patients who underwent the HSSO. Pre- and post-operative measurements (incl. CT volumetry) were performed. It was found, that after initial increase of the joint space, the condyle moved into the same position again as it was pre-operatively (remodelling), without relapse or other complications.

  • Both cutting pliers can be used to cut all MODUS 2 Orthognathics plates
  • You can choose the right cutting plier based on your clinical requirements
  • Visibility enables a cut without sharp edges
  • The cutting process rounds off the cut edge

Plate bending pliers M2-2002 (Midface Plates) and M2-2006 (Mandible Plates)

  • Allow bending of plates outside the plane.
  • The bar of the plate can be bent to a 90° angle using the 90° bending feature.
  • Slot provides visibility on the area that will be bent, while the laser markings on the plate can thereby determine the exact location of the bending.
  • Enable to bend the plates in the plane / Aderer function, using the three-jaw plier function.

2.0 slider, fenestrated 8 mm, HD6 (M2-5242.08) or 2.3 slider, fenestrated 8 mm, HD6 (M2-5252.08)

  • The slider enables to adjust the occlusion intraoperatively in most of the MODUS 2 Orthognathics Mandible plates.
  • The occlusion can be temporarily fixed while the slider is tightened. It can be adjusted while the slider is loosened. After the osteosynthesis has been completed the slider must be removed.
